About Me

Hi, I'm Anouk! I'm a designer and illustrator who studied Communication & Multimedia Design with a love for storytelling in all forms. Whether it's through graphic design, illustration, video, or animation, I enjoy creating work that feels expressive, thoughtful, and visually engaging.

A lot of my inspiration comes from the stories I love. I'm a huge reader, especially emotional and character-driven books. I'm also passionate about animation and film, with favorites including Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and the Odyssey. Outside of creative work, you'll probably find me watching Formula 1 (supporting Ferrari or Racing Bulls), listening to K-pop, eating pastries, or collecting anything Snoopy.

Katch is an iPad webapp designed to introduce a new audience to K-pop. Through a swipe-based experience inspired by dating apps, users discover artists they might love — matching their music taste with K-pop in a playful, interactive way.

More than just a discovery tool, Katch functions as a social bridge. By connecting Western music fans to K-pop artists, it creates an approachable entry point into a new music culture.

The experience was designed for use in physical K-pop stores, combining digital interaction with a real-world setting so visitors can explore and engage on the spot.

Never Say 'Good Luck' to a Sailor (NSGLTAS) is a short film about ambition, uncertainty, and finding your place. It follows Darya, a young aspiring filmmaker navigating the pressure of creating something meaningful while figuring out who she wants to become.

I worked on the visual identity and creative direction for the film — shaping the look and feel across the poster, trailer, and pitch materials so the story felt cohesive from first impression to final frame.

The project brought together branding, editing, and storytelling into one identity that could live on screen, in print, and in the pitch deck we used to present the film to potential funders.

Goodreads is a redesign project focused on creating a cleaner, more intuitive reading experience. The goal was to keep the platform's core features — tracking books, discovering new reads, and connecting with friends — while giving the interface a calmer, more modern visual identity.

I redesigned key pages across the site into a card-based layout with clearer hierarchy, more breathing room, and a softer accent palette, so browsing your shelves and updates feels easier and more enjoyable.
